Ingredients
- 2 Salmon Fillets
- Honey
- Dijon Mustard
- 1 Lemon
- A thumb of ginger
- Broccoli
- Kale
- Sesame Seeds
- 1 Clove of Garlic
Instructions
- Before you start blanch your broccoli and chop your garlic. Knife should slide in easily if its cooked.
- Grate a thumb of ginger into a bowl (using a teaspoon is easier than a peeler)
- Half the lemon, zest half of the lemon.
- Add two tablespoons of honey
- Add one tablespoon of dijon mustard
- Stir until the honey dissolves into the lemon juice
- Set a burner to high heat
- Use a dry frying pan
- Add the salmon skin side down
- 3-4minutes on each side, salmon will turn light pink.
- When a thin sliver of dark pink remains on the salmon pour over the glaze
- 1 minute each side
- 30 seconds each edge.
- Check its light pink all the way through. Put a lid on the pan and set aside.
- Now to stir fry the vegetables
- Remove the stalks from the kale
- Add oil to a medium high pan
- Add broccoli and stir fry for 1 or 2 minutes
- Add garlic and stir fry for 1 minute
- Add the kale and stir fry until it has reduced in size and wilted down.
- Season to taste.
